Finally a bit of clear sky last night down here. Unfortunately it was on the eve of a 3am start to catch the ferry South!! Murphy!
Non-the-less, I wasn't to be deterred, after that's what they invented "V" for.
Cloud came and went, but I manged to get a few shots at an elusive Galaxy I have been camera chasing for awhile now.
Attached is NGC1566 in Dorado. 8x3min dark subtracted. 300D prime focus f/10 thru my trusty old C8. Guiding with webcam, K3CCDTools and Star-Mate
