If you live at latitude -29 the galactic center passes overhead. (Geraldton - Coober Pedy - Ballina)
Six countries lie under the middle of the Milky Way: Australia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa and Lesotho.
The Milky Way is our biggest tourist attraction, by size, and it is magnificent from a dark site.
