The C14 is 45 lbs which is much lighter than the Meade equivalent so it was my preference.
I do hope to eventually look at a self-guided SBIG but for now stuck using the external guidescope , my WO ZS 80 MM
the Losmandy plate i sit it on is a heavy piece of quipment so i might swap it witht he C14 base plate which is lighter so that the main concentration of weight is closer to the mount head/center of gravity.
