I had not long finished my scope when I took this pic
we were getting an odd visit from a flock of correllas a while back
This particular afternoon they had been and gone and my scope was out back cooling down..I was inside when I heard them out back again ..when I had a look they were all on the ground around my scope so I grabbed the camera.. The screen door shuting behind me startled them and most hopped out of frame .. When I took The shot I hadn't seen the one sitting on my scope as the yard was actually quite dark and wasn't even sure if I had even got it in frame .. the instant this bird flew I looked on the ground and slowly took in what I saw ..shredded timber  .. |
When you say "took the shot" I hope you mean the lead variety also.
