ok.. thought this might be a good idea for beginners thinking about getting into astronomy. Maybe to dispel some of the misconceptions that u need to spend big bucks to be able to make it worth while. As a n00b myself when i was initially getting into astronomy i was amazed at the varying in prices for scopes and stuff.. and it can put some people off.. if guess if i put a poll here.. beginners can see what 'proper' amateur astronomist spend.. without getting the poll dirtied with people that use cheapies for the primary scope. Initially the thought was to make it a 'how much have u spent on u'r hobby'.. but then realised that some of you have been doing it for decades so the figure would be high and you oldies (
) would have a hard time remembering
