hey well spotted Al!
i decided that i'd keep the tires b/w for 2 reasons. 1. the tires had a slight greenish tinge to them which i didnt like and 2. it would have been too fiddly trying to do the area on the grass line. i think the effort involved would have been greater than the outcome and i am basically a lazy person.
as for the desaturated silver parts, i might go back and do those.
i have plans for this picture. i am going to make a pano type shot of 3 or 4 different coloured tractors side by side in panels with some fairly outlandish colours... should look arty i recon
