Hi all
Next clear night I will see about getting out with some observing, will test both the Baader and Lumicon UHCs visually on some familiar DSO's like the Lagoon, Triffid nebulae etc. and get back to you. The Baader is designed to be less severe on supressing starlight, however both filteres arent good for star clusters/galaxies, only emission nebulae where the light comes from specific wavelengths (colours). The Baader is meant to be both photo and visual, the Lumicon strictly a visual filter as it doesnt let through as much Hydrogen Alpha (deep red) light. More info when I test both filters visually. (Hopefully tonight)
