Nick, I know that Larry Brockman (
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/member.php?u=2091 ) was working on taking two off-the-shelf OTAs and producing a binocular. He had a design approach he was confident about. But Larry doesn't seem to have been into the forum since last June.
