I just received this item from Hong Kong which is a 6 in 1 infrared remote control for my Pentax Optio S7 point and shoot camera.
This will allow me to forego the self timer and use the instant shutter release for multiple still shots. It even controls the telephoto / wide angle zoom control!
Cost me $1.90 - YES $1.90 on buy it now from
Ebay. The postage was $8.00 from Hong Kong by air mail which is OK considering I got it all for under $10. It only took 10 days to get here as well.
The best thing is that it also controls Canon, Nikon, Minolta and Sony brand cameras to varying degrees and I assume will probably work with Video Cameras as well. Great for those EOS owners out there.
Take a look, I have already tried it on my Pentax and it works like a charm! Nothing to program, easy as pie!
