Hi Guys, long time watcher - short time poster here.....
I recently bought a Celestron EQ5 mount and had all sorts of probs getting it to find stars (initial alignment seemed to work ok tho). After many frustrating nights, I re-read the manual for the 10th time and realised the date had to be set in US format (MMDDYY)
Embarrassed I was..... works great now.
Also, although the time displays and works correctly (in one of the menus), if I go back to scope align, it displays the "Last" time I entered (when I powered it on and aligned it)?????
