Smile Some early success (with assistance)

I purchased an 8" Dobsonian and finally took it out to the Stargazers night. Before this I had been able to see the moon and Jupiter and the double star of the pointers. Following the night at the meeting I have came home and have been able to find Omega Centauri and the Jewel Box.

This has really kick started things and I am looking forward to finding more clusters, double stars and whatever else is out there.

Mackay Stargazers have been really helpful as has this forum.
