Maybe some PS Wizard could run a class at the Qld Astrofest, just so we get the basic tool kit correct?

An excellent suggestion, Dennis.
I guess the trick would be to find someone who is both highly au fait with general PS method and procedure, but more importantly how it applies to processing astro images.
But it'd be great just to get the 'basic tool kit' worked out.
I'd certainly attend 'classes' of that type at something like Astrofest.
Maybe something for the organisers to consider for the future, given the popularity of PS in astronomy?
