Yesterday it was a fine night-for a change and I spent a lot of time -without luck-trying to observe this comet...unfortunately had to admit defeat as I couldnt find it with my 7 x50 binos
Has anyone been able to observe this comet? any tips?

I tried to find it using a starry Night update..showed the comet was sort of SouthWest of Canopus but I could see nothing
