Not bad, Kirk....good shots. Have you tried shooting through coloured filters at all?? Try some RGB filters and maybe a Ha filter to bring out the colour and details in your piccies. With the deep faint fuzzies like M82, a bit more exposure time would be good too.
The shot of M11 is good....you can see some colour in the stars there, and in your M82 shot you can see a hint of red near the nucleus of the galaxy.
