Hi Paul, many thanks, The reason for using Ha is as Jase mentioned for the tighter stars. I find that while using the IR/UV filter the stars are a lot fatter or bloated, with the Ha filter I get a nicer tighter image which I find more pleasing to the eye.

Hi Jase and thanks for your comments, the narrowband imaging has been a bit slow getting off the ground. The individual images have been turning out quite well but when combining them they have not turned as good as I have expected. I have gone back to the Maxim manuals and had a re-read and discovered a few more things that I should have done and probably should not have done as well. So I think that they made be sorted out as well, I am planning a narrowband session for the next clear night, probably something easy to start like the Trifid or Eagle nebulas.
