Actually, I was just thinking...
Maybe it is a conspiricy from the "north". First they will change Omega from a globular to a "spherical dwarf galaxy remnant". Then they will pick on 47Tuc and re-allocate that to something else (Magellanic globular?) ...eventually they will be able to say "M13 is the brightest and most impressive of all the globulars"... I think they suffer a bit from "globular envy" because ours are so much bigger and better
