I have succesfully installed Starry Night Pro Plus 6.0.0 on my Windows XP SP2-machine. But always when I try to install an update (e.g. 6.2.3) I get the error-message "Application not found". Then the updater asks me to chose the correct Starry-Night-installation-folder. I have always chosen the correct folder but the updater insists that "application not found" no matter what folder I choose.
Has anybody encountered this same problem? Has anybody a solution for this?
Previous to Starry Night Pro Plus6 I had Starry Night Pro plus 5.8 installed on my computer but I have uninstalled that previous version prior to the installation of version 6. Could that possibly cause trouble?
Personally I think that it has something to do with Java. I think Java jams the updating-process. The updater seems to use Java-runtime-environment but that may not run appropriate on my computer.
