I use it all the time on my Canon (that's when the clouds will let me ) and it works a treat, but it doesn't work natively with non-canon cameras. You have to point it to the directory that contains the remote capture files. I also heard a rumor, and that is all it is - a rumour, that Chris Venter isn't doing any more upgrades so I don't know what future support will be like.

It is much more expensive, but have you considered something like Images Plus. It will work plus you will have a first rate program for the initial processing of your images.
