Thanks for your interest. It is an interesting object lots of references in SIMBAD. Conditions have been atrocious here with controled burns and an inversion layer for days. The moon hasn't cooperated either so yes, more data is needed, at least another hour Ha and then the RGB.
This is how I perceive Ha based on its emission frequency. It may be a bit heavy on the magenta. If there is a plug in or program which automatically renders Ha I would love to hear about it. Yes I have probably over clipped the black end in an attempt to control some of the noise from the short exposure times, (sorry, bad technique). I need guiding but can't afford it yet. I have attached a compressed version of the original Ha warts and all. Thanks again. I learn heaps from this kind of input.
