Yes, RYSTARS. It was a camp organised by Rotary, held in the sleepy little town of Coonabarabran (which most of the visitors had never heard of). There was about 20-odd
students from yr 9 to yr 11, and we got slightly less than four days worth of stellar (haha) presentations (ranging from the different types of telescopes to the discovery of Comet McNaught), seeing different telescopes in use around the area, and observing the WONDERFUL night sky. And it was lots of fun.
And for anyone who doesn't already know... WE'RE IN THE COONA PAPER!!!
