That sure is a pretty good start. With a first image like that you will enjoy the dark moonless skies coming up and should produce some great images.
One word of advice, Start with the easy ones and work up to some of the dimmer ones when you are realy happy with your last attempt.
I have a new camera and am right back at the start again.
Keep it up and post a lot. The criteque will only help. (I know I can't spell OK)
