I have read that sometimes, a Windows update may require a particular application to also be updated, or you may get some problems? I can’t say that this has happened to me, yet, although I’m still on XP Pro.
Careful with plugging the ToUcam into another of the native USB ports – I did this once and it wanted me to insert the CDROM again, so I returned it to the original USB port where I first installed it.
I have noticed that certain USB devices are happy to be plugged into any native USB port, but others seem quite particular and always require plugging into the port in which they were first installed.
