Hi folks,
Lasse Lindh figured for me out that the galaxy is PGC48179 with a surface brightness of 14.23. I also have a pre-impact shot, but I have to process that one tonight and consist of only 2 x 100s shots, so it won't compare that easy.
What I noticed though is that the coma became more stellar and brighter, which is quite noticeable in the image and was visually too.
It's a shame that many of you missed out, but be comforted with the thought that it wasn't that spectacular.
