Thanks Doug, yes you do have a point I expect, the 5D, did actually pick up a reasonably amount of HA.
The Modded camera certainly picks up more, but then as you say, weigh up the other factors in relation to smoothness, and processing techniques.
Ah well, mate I don't have it any more, even the 30 D is gone, so unless I mod the 5D I will be back to basics.
