Don't wanna sound like an alarmist, but as someone that has repaired a fair few water damaged electronic devices over the years, you'll want to dry them out quicker than that. Galvanic reaction is already at work and you might end-up with corrosion and dry joints.

To all: thanks for the best wishes. At one level, am hoping everything is OK, at another level, if I knew that the insurance would pay unconditionally, I'd hope that it is all totally beyond repair so I could upgrade! I'll know sometime on the weekend I suppose!
I'm mostly hoping that EzyStyles old camera is OK, as it only had a few test shots fired off - kind of a bummer for a camera that has lead such a productive life (for a very short amount of time admittedly) to die that way!
