Did you find out if its universal upgrade or a different version for each type of scope?

Thanks

It's a Skywatcher Newt from Andrews.
I just opened out the hole in the tube and redrilled the mounting holes. Used brass shim to pack it up evenly on both sides as its got the 233mm base on it. I did think about making an adapter plate etc. but chose the easy way in the end. To check for square on the tube I used my laser collimator with the spider removed from the scope. Measured down the tube to the dot and adjusted by tightening and slackening the mounting screws until the red dot was split by the end of the rule at the correct distance and diametrically opposite the centre of the focuser. Don't know if there's a plate available for the smaller diameter tubes, but if there is the existing is easily removable, only held in place by 2 allen grub screws.
