Dluth I have the soloution to the problem with the motors re EQ6.
It's ampage, you need to feed the mount about 2 amps. My power packs were only putting out 500ma which is enough to power up the hand box but not enough power the motors.
I plugged mine into a proper 12v outlet and it works fine.
