taken on 9/3/08 i only partially processed this one and found it today, just finished it quickly. its gum 30 (near eta carina neb)
shot with the trusty g11 and 12 inch newt, about 1 hr of 6 min exposures @ iso 800 and cannon 300d.
had a bunch of dramas with the neighbours lately, i tried being nice for a long time but that didnt work , so finally i told them either you turn of your floodlights or i put in 20 meter trees to block you out and goodbye views
.... seems to have worked for now( note theyre not talking to me now and i dont care). ive put in a blurry pic so you get an idea of what ive had to put up with, taken at the door to my observatory.
i need a holiday so im going fishing to secret location for a week or so ... pic also provided.....
