Mick please do consider coming along to the Dark Sky Camp at Barambah - a possible 5 nights to check out other peoples scopes, have a look through various types of eyepieces, and generally meet plenty of other "locals" face to face for some quality relaxation and astro chat!
In terms of scopes we currently have bookings from various sized dobsonians (and their owners
) ranging from
8" to
25" (and all sizes in between) plus some SCT's and Mak's and I think some standard refractor's. Hopefully there will even be a 360° rotating/reclining binocular chair fitted with 20x80 triplet binos.
(IF I can get my finger out and finish all the fiddly bits in time that is!
