My point was if you aspire to be an airline pilot then surely the hair and music is not really that important to your life. Sure you can play guitar and whatever music you like but you do that in your private time. As far as the choice of music is concerned, that is personal preference. At the end of the day classical music training can make you a better musician whatever music you play.
You mention that you have been flying for 2 months.What aircraft do you fly and have you gone solo yet?
There is a big difference between a private pilot licence and a commercial transport pilot licence. I'm sure that you realise this.
If i was in your shoes I wouldnt let the hair and music issue cloud my judgement. I would concentrate on getting the required grades and getting out of the school as quickly as possible.

no solo yet, il be 15 in about 4 months and i shall be ready by then.
