why do assume they are sad these losers? they can afford the best equipment available, and will undercut the young just to get a gig, dad bands rule buddy! hehe
anyway i find that view as plainly ageism pure and simple, that once you've reached 30, you are no longer capable of playing an instrument, even for enjoyment! coz thats what it is really all about in the end, and it is very cheap fun at times
