I can't get anywhere near that sort of resolution or details from my 5" Newt using Afocal adaptor and a Pentax 7MP camera at 250x so it seems that I am going to have to sooner or later upgrade to the process of Prime focus so that I can get some decent shot of the planets.
If I can get any where near this quality, I will be VERY happy and won't chuck the Skywatcher out for a long time.

Thanks doug! I had a peak through the eyepiece as well before I imaged and could see CD and the major banding quiet easily...awesome!

Thanks Ric very much appreciated! I am very happy to capture that mucg detail but I am always willing to get more..
