It was mentioned before - thank your lucky stars your parents have the good sense to send you to a private school rather than a public school run by our (hopelessly inept) incumbent state government. Apart from the unavoidable bent on religion you'll be put through, whether you choose to believe in it or not, your education there should put you in reasonable stead for what's ahead of you.

I went to a public school back in the 70's and it was arguably the best in the state - North Sydney Boys High School. It was a selective school and you had to prove yourself to gain entry. I drive past the school these days and all I see are run-down buildings and louts hanging around with their shirts out, jeans instead of trousers and attitudes to match. A real shame and a blight on current politics. If I'd "argued" with my teachers over anything I would have been suspended if not expelled. You guys have it WAY too easy nowadays. LOL! You shouldn't have the right to arue with anyone yet - learn, gain experience and life knowledge and maybe then you could argue a point without sounding like you know it all (which I hear all kids do these days).

Good luck with the band, and don't let all the negative comment here get you down too much - it's called the "generation gap" - and we, too, suffered it as kids. (All better now as we can do the same to you! )
