My curiosity sparked by Steven's image I pointed my 8" f/6 newt at NGC 2626 last night with little hope of seeing anything at all, but just to try, as I was 'in the neighbourhood' looking at a few local Collinders anyway...
I was amazed that it showed up in the EP, with much less detail than in the image of course, but still... the dark cloud almost touching the star could be seen (DCld 259.9-00.0)
The Snowboarder however was beyond my limited capacity... I reckon as an imaging object it easily outshines the Running Man though...
