Not sure about the actual weight, but I have had it on an EQ3-2 which was OK at low power but a disaster at high power, on my HEQ5 it was perfect. I have seen a picture of one mounted on a Vixen Porta Mount (alt-az) not sure how it performed though.
The scope is sold.
