I know them as an Orb weaver and their webs are STRONG. I know that my wife and actually many wives dont care that it is harmless. its hairy and has 8 legs. (insert eardrum bursting screem here)
. I can recommend watching one of these spiders laying or spinning there web. They are FAST.
