Dunlop 291

I looked at about 20 of Dunlop's open clusters last night with a 12" on low power. I liked D291 = NGC 4103. It has an arrow in it.

Dunlop found it in 1826 and wrote:
"A cluster of-small stars of mixt magnitudes, irregular figure, about 6' long and 4' broad."
He catalogued 93 OC with his 9" reflector that year including 19 that are not in the NGC or IC catalogues.
