Yes, only new acquisition is the 12.5mm EP (ED type from Andrews for $59 ish) which has a really wide almost 20mm FOV and with the Barlow is still really clear and high contrast at 200X. I am very happy with it, its probably going to be my stock eyepiece now as globulars and nebulas look superb in it even at 80X.

The seeing was also much better last night though, very clear, no wind and no turbulence over Sydney (which is where Sagittarius appears to me)

I also used Mike's trick of converting to BMP and using PPMCentre as well as his black magic settings for the Wavelets and the result is better, although its never ever going to be big enough for my liking.......keep in mind its only a dodgy Digital camera on AVI mode at 640X480 and mounted on an AFOCAL adapter hanging off the eyepiece.

Maybe I shoulda bought the 8" DOB for $450?

Also, would any kind of planetary filter help me out here?

Chris
