Gman was correct in the your D-Link DSL-G604T wireless ADSL modem router, will plug into the Satellite modem. Again he was right in saying you will need to configure your router to the modem but this is not to hard:
By default the username & password for the router will be "admin" & "admin" so you access the settings from there...ussualy by opening up your internet browser & typing 192.168.?.? the last two depend on what your router address is. At a guess I would say 192.168.1.1. then all you need to do is open the port that Setellite modem is using, easier said that done but as gman said the techy that sets up the dish should be able to help you with his.
To answer your second questions, the router is fine :-)
