NGC 2997 spiral galaxy

Hi Folks,
Had fun the other night as was lovely and clear till after midnight
I just picked this out of a NGC catalog off the internet and being up rather high I thought it would make a good thou small target to try.
I have read that this galaxy has spawned a few supernovae over the years.
I`m quiet pleased how well this little galaxy has come out
Image is 14 x 7min at iso 800 with the newt and 300D
Seeing was a little better than the night before but the sky was a little more hazy. Was a very cool night which really helped with keeping the noise nice and managable!
This is just a small crop of the original image.
Cheers and hope for some more CS tonight
Gary
