Wasn't the best of nights but we were desperate to at least have one good try from the 40D.
A short window of opportunity during the end of twilight and moonrise we only took a
single image as the moon started to wash things out.

Processed PS CS2
The 40D is more HA sensitive than the ist DL and produces much more depth and detail.
Can't wait for a clear dark sky and take multiple shots
