In my experience AP is rubbish. Lost parcels but the real bummer was when I purchased a laptop from WA and had it insured. When it arrived I thought a great screen saver was installed as it had a "cracked" screen. Only problem was that it was cracked. When I went to claim the insurance they refused it because they claimed it was a fragile item. Guess what dopey?, that why I damned well insured it.
Anyway the people in AP refused to pay up until I contacted the Ombudsman in Victoria and said why were they not honouring their insurance when they clearly knew it a laptop as stated on the declaration. They accepted the money for insurance quickly enough. Eventually they coughed up the money for the lap top after a judgement from the Ombudsman office.
Never forget even with this bunch of cretins that as the consumer you have rights that trhey have to deliver on. If AP uses contractors they are effectively employees of that service. Stand up against AP crappy service/ploys and complain and take your complaints either to the small claims court or the Ombudsman. Then they take notice.
