Well done mate. Yes its fun digging up the more obscure objects. What makes this one all the more interesting is its proximity to the bright star. On its own the PN would not be as interesting.
Isnt it ironic that both our images show a diffraction spike just "touching" the edge of the nebula. Leoon's however is well between the spikes Interesting how our own processing efforts come up with slightly different colours, and leons is more blue. Mine was with a UHCS filter, Erics with the IDAS filter.
We can see that A12 has a pink edge and a more blue-green interior.
As for the flaring, it can depend not only on the star brightness, but also its colour Im thinking. I should swap my IR/UV and UHCS filters around and see if theres a difference. Currently I have the uv/ir screwed onto the MPCC and then the uhcs.
