That's a lot of water.
I did note though that the local press (Sydney) was touting over 600mm in your neck of the woods. So, being a voyeur of kinds and running my own weather station, I ducked off to the official BOM MO site in Mackay; whilst still a huge amount of precipitation their site recorded a 'mere' 320mm.
Whatever: I do hope that none of your local daredevils cause someone else to risk their life in rescuing them.
