This is the first time it has been organised as a rally and the first time it's been associated with the Oberon Show. I guess the success or otherwise will determine if it becomes annual

. It all came about because of the equine influenza... no horse events at the show so what else to do?

In reality that's not a bad thing (OK, it's no fun for the horsey crowd) but I think the shows need to do different things each year, or at least be bringing on "new product" to draw people in.
