Thanks for the advice but I'm afraid you've both given me the exact answer I didn't want. That the HEQ5PRO will do what I want now but probably won't last me too long into the future if I do expand into astrophotography. It makes me very tempted to spend the money now but reluctant to do so.
I'm confused.
I'm thinking that if anything I should just get the ED80 and an AZ3 mount as I was only thinking of this setup anyway before I saw I could get a deal. That way I can do some futher thinking/research about what I may want to do in the future so that I don't make any bad decisions.
Perhaps I should just sleep on it a few nights....
