Pardon our ignorance guys. You both have mentioned blok and neb globs. Not sure whether we we've got this right

Are the dark areas I have selected in this image what you're talking about. I have enhanced them a bit.

Perhaps my only suggestion would be to post a larger size as the 600 x 567 pixels doesn't do it justice.
You'd be able to easily post one at double the res and yet still maintain detail.
In PS CS2 I resize my images from original to around the 1000px mark and tick "Bi-cubic Sharper" next to the "Re-sample Image" option.
Then use the "Save for web" menu item under "File" to save it as a jpg to fit within the forum limit.
Once again an excellent result.

You're right about the clipping Andrew. Have tried to adjust it but lose too much detail in the nebula.
