I was just wondering where the name Anzaobservatory came from
It sounds, shall we say - Australasian

Cheers

Aloha Bryan,

as i recall DeAnza was an explorer..... Anza is at 4,200 ft. elevation,
Anza Borrego desert is at sea level at the bottom of the same mountain.
(in Southern California)

i found my way to this town after joining an Astronomy club that has it's
dark site there.

be well, Lance aka "abellhunter"
