Your right they do look a bit similar but I somehow think that at:
Right ascension: 9h 16m 21s
Declination: -36° 39' 3"
Constellation: Pyxis
It is a bit far south. From mid USA it will reach about 12 deg above the southern horizon. Very good challenge object.
