Depends on whether you're primarily interested in dark skies or steady seeing. Of the two ASSA observing sites, Tooperang has darker skies overall but tends to be cloudy more often. Stockport has better northern horizons. The whole Barossa region isn't too dark these days. The mid north and Flinders are great and our local planetary photography guru says there can be very steady seeing down near Hindmarsh Island.
